If the book jacket has contact info about the author, you may write to her directly. I'm very sure she would appreciate it. In the absence of such info, you may contact the publisher and tell them of your concern. I'm sure they would only be too happy to hook you up with the author. Good luck, sweetie.
And yes, it's perfectly alright to bother with such details. It is only in knowing our mistakes that we grow to be better persons.

The author might even appreciate it. Go ahead and write her. I think you can get in touch with the author through the publisher, whose address you can find somewhere in the book.

I think you should. Authors appreciate readers' input. I've contacted a couple regarding their work (I had some questions), and they responded every single time. I used publishers info to find them.

as quickly as I first study this question, i replaced into like, "Oh, that's consumer-friendly!" yet then i began out dealing with my contacts and that i replaced into like, "Uh. Maaaaaaybe no longer." i in my view had to think of roughly this question. xD i might in all probability p.c.. agilebrit or Steven J Pemberton. the two as a results of fact the they're lots older than me. they have countless writing journey and a huge casserole of understanding they are in a position to convey to the table. additionally, i do no longer think of that they had be afraid to tell me love that's if my prose or theory replaced into completely whack. With agilebrit, I have no theory what we'd write approximately, yet judging by using the undeniable fact that she likes Terry Pratchett and he or she's a Whedonite and he or she loves RDJ, i'm beneficial it would be badass. With Steve, it would be a fantasy e book. Of epic proportions. (of direction!) :D i think of i might convey some reliable communicate to the story. communicate's what I evaluate my best writing potential. Oh, and innovative analogies/metaphors. yet I even tend to flow overboard with those issues. (So Steve and agilebrit might would desire to do a butt load of enhancing.) xD although, if I would desire to be completely honest, i does not thoughts writing a e book with ANY of my contacts. as a results of fact they're all magnificent. :]

yes you can. and if your correction is valid, then she should be grateful that you were concerned enough to tell her. they usually include the email addresses of the authors. email her or if it's not there, just google search her. i'm sure she has a webpage... most authors have one. just make sure that you are correct. it would be embarrassing if you were wrong. goodluck

Why not?
The author, being a Filipino, should be glad to hear comments from a "kabayan" (countryman/woman), especially coming from abroad.

I would appreciate if I were the author. People in the literati are more level-headed than the glitterati.
