sure, like in the old jane austen novels, his perfect character and temper and everything else would inspire me to try to better my own. if the guy would really be perfect, then there's no way i'd let him go.

no. perfection is annoying. I would feel like I would constanlty have to match him in everything for me to feel equivalent in the relationship. His perfection would probably ruin the chances.
