I've got several that are gathering dust, if thats not enough i've got some spare cash lying around as well, would you like that to? I suppose you'd want me to deliver it as well - at your convenience of course.

Have a word with a large local company, their PCs are usually replaced every 3 years. Try a local PC maintainer, they sometimes have PCs that are not up to current specs but still work that they have removed from customer premises after installing later machines. In a lot of countries, electronic equipment cannot be skipped any more but recycled at a cost. Offer to save them money by taking some off their hands for free. Beware you won't get a new(ish) PC that is not stolen, unless a charity buys it for you.

Lots of business recycle huge amounts of PC's from institutions such as businesses, hospitals, schools.

Find one in your area call them if it was me and you were prepared to pick it up. I would knock something together for you. Why not nice to put a smile on a kids face.

goto yahoo groups and look for freecycle thats in your area their people advertise items they are giving away free and you can place a wanted ad its all free

free might be a bit optomisic, you can get some really cheap ones of eBay though
