I'm a Survival Horror fan, so A) what do you think is the best game for the PS1, and B) best Survival Horror game for the PS1?

Best overall game, Final Fantasy VII just because it was so different to everything else and it had so many little details
Survival Horror, has to be Silent Hill because it scared me - the foggy streets and dark torture chambers had more atmos than any Resi game
New Resi game on PS3 look fun though

Best Horror: Resident Evil
Some of my other favourites are Final Fantasy VIII + IX, Resi 2 + 3, Vib Ribbon, Syphon Filter, Parasite Eve II, Metal Gear Solid and Dino Crisis.

I liked Parasite Eve 2. The first one was a load of tripe, but the second game was really good. It's similar to Resident Evil, but the main character can do "spells" or something like that to help defeat her enemies. It's not as odd as it sounds, but I really enjoyed that game. Still have it in fact, but haven't played it for a while.
