Let me tell ya...my grandmother never met her one true love...she married a guy, had a couple kids with him, he left her for another woman...and that was it. She never dated, she never remarried... She moved in with her mom and spent the rest of her moms life together. Now she is INCREDIBLY bitter!!! My brothers just flew out to see her and the WHOLE weekend they were praying for time to pass quickly to get back home. Nothing you say to this woman is ever right, and she is always miserable!!

Don't ever give up, there is someone out there.

Sometimes the signs are so "in your face" of who the right person is that you don't even see them. That was my problem for about 5 years! Then, "the one" for me called me up one day and came out and straight told me how she felt.

I'm not saying that this will happen to you, but you'll need to take some chances and look closely at the people around you. Always be aware of the perception you are giving off to people.

I hate to say this, but there is no "one" who is meant for us. Not only that, but being in a relationship doesn't guarantee happiness, and if anything, a person is often happier alone than he is in a relationship.

you're just watching too much tv, honey.

somewhere, somehow, you will find the one for. he may not be the one you had imagined as your dream guy.

to all those waiting for their dream guy/girl, i have a question:

so, after a long and winding road, you finally found him/her. perfect to your specifications, from the length of the eyelashes down to the shoe size. but alas, he/she too is looking for the dream partner. and sadly, you do not add up to the specifications!

how sad...

Every person is a unique independent person. Note I said independent. Not being a couple does not mean that you are missing something fcrom your life. Don't waste your life wishing it away, enjoy every minute for what it is.
