This gets touted out and tossed about quite a bit. What is really disgusting about it when you really stop and think is that non-smokers seem to think that breathing clean air isn't just a right for them, but a right that should be imposed upon everyone. Those that choose to smoke being systematically pushed out of every public building, which is fair for any establishment where the two mingle. But why in an entire state of smoke freeness do the smokers not get to have one restruant to their own? After all, the people peeing in the pool are the ones that pay the extra taxes on the ciggys that contributes to the surplus that allows the pool to be there in the first place.

We don't have smoking sections in restaurants here in Ontario, Canada. We also don't like it when people pee in the pool. I like the answer - kiddie pool! LOL
I need more COWBELL, I don't want to have come down there and tie you up, but that's what the grass is for. Eating and peeing on.

Interesting thought! Never thought of it quite like that, but your logic is right on target! Here in Maine ALL our restaurants and bars are non-smoking, and it's WONDERFUL! I always hated going into a restaurant, even if they had a non-smoking section, and having the nasty cigarette smoke overpower the food aromas. Frankly, I think it should be a national law, not just a state one. Don't inflict your cancer-causing habit on me!

whichever restaurant i've been to, has a separate room for smoking, not just a separate section, so i guess they'd let u pee if there's a separate swimming pool specially meant for peeing, but i dunno if that would work. people won't mind breathing in other smokers' smoke while smoking their own cigarettes, but no one would like to get in a pool that's already got other people's pee in it, it would be too gross. they would rather not pee and go to the proper pool, ya know!!!!!!!

They're trying to do away with all of it. They don't want us to have any fun doing anything anymore. Maybe I should open a poolside smoking resturant. I wonder if it would be a hit...
