Ok so my husband and I have been trying to conceive and I today is exactly 7 weeks and 1 day since the first day or my last period. I've taken 3 pregnancy tests(E.P.T first response) and all have come back NEG. but I have been feel nauseous and going to the bathroom frequently and breast are a tad sore... So my question is would any one know if I am pregnant. Is there a reason its been 7 weeks and I'm still not starting, (I have been Religiously regular for about 4 years now) and nothing stressful that I can think of, would I still not have enough H.G.C in my system for a home pregnancy test to pick up? anyone every been in the situation before... Thank you guys in advance, I really do need the help...

And the only reason Im asking here instead of just going to the doctor is my husband dosen't get any medical benefits until december and right now money is tight... so if any one knows anything, although I know a blood test will be best in the end, just curious about other *less expensive* options...

Just adding to the fact about insurance... if the child DOES become ill we will have insurance by the time she/he is born... we get all medical benefits in december...

It is entirely possible that you are pregnant but have not made enough HGC to cause a positive result. All the pregnancy tests can really confirm is that you are preggers not so much that you aren't. The majority of women show a positive result by this time but that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with you or the baby if you are preggers. I was 3 months and had already had my pregnancy confirmed by a pelvic exam before the test showed up positive. Don't worry, wait a while longer (or go see your doc if you're anxious) and try it again. Chances are pretty good that if you're not showing a positive result on the pee test you're not going to show a positive result in a blood test either. The pee tests are pretty accurate and are basically the same as the ones used by your doc.
Just read your comment about not currently having insurance. Are you avoiding the doc so it's not considered a pre-existing condition? If that's the case, hurry up and get the insurance because prenatal care is sooooo important.

thats pretty nuts
sorry to say this but i really think you should go for a blood test to confirm this, if you have been having negative tests after you should be 7 weeks pregnant id say your probably not pregnant 7 weeks is more than enough to pick up a positive test
only way to be sure is to go for blood, thats pretty foolproof.
there could be any number or reasons why your period hasnt started,
stress
polysystic ovarian syndrome
out of sync dates
illness
infection
i really would go and see a gp if your worried sweeite.
good luck and fingers crossed

Its possible that u are pregnant, or again, it could be the stress cause of u wondering if your are pregnant or not. I was 10wks late last yr, and all my PT came up neg. However on the last one I done, i had a very faint positive. I went to the doc and he confirmed i was pregnant but very early stages. I would go for the blood test, i know u sais that money was tight but its important to know, for ur own piece of mind otherwise ull drive urself crazy xx

Sorry I tend to agree with the comment about insurance. Children are very expensive. What would happen if the child is ill ( different rules in various us states )
PS The symptoms say your pregnant even if the tests don't. If you can't afford a doctor ask around and see if anyone can help free because if your not you need to see one. If you are it doesn't matter, you will certainly know later on.

go to the doctor and have them do a blood test type of pregnancy test. The doc will have a more definitive answer than any of us.
