No drug found in hair, you ask.... They are saying nothing. It is as if the Portuguese Police have been gagged !!
In Portugal they have this saying when someone is desperate for credibility... "THROW THE BALL OF SOFT CLAY ONTO A WALL AND.... HOPE IT STICKS" -- I wonder what the next McCann ball of clay will be.
For " yahooyahoo" who says that "Everything we've heard has been speculation" -- of course it is.... The Police have been gagged so the only things we can say are the result of logical thinking... besides, "speculation" isn't a dirty word.
WHAT-IFs are the first thing in a line of enquiry, aren't they ?

What I don't understand is people claiming accidental overdose, fall and smashing her head etc etc...
I do not believe those things happened. If it was an accident what parent would panic that they would be accused of murder, if it was an accident. So why would Kate McCann panic, she had nothing to worry about and do people really believe that after this accident, not only did her husband think they would be accused but so did all their friends....it is too far fetched.
The child was abducted by a stranger.

I read where they still think she was sedated and opened the door and fell down the stairs .The parents didn't own up to the accident because they knew the "sedation" would come out so they decided to take the line they did so save their own skins.The police are supposed to be sure now that is what happened but they have yet to work out how the body was got rid of. They are stiil waiting for dna results on hair found in the flat.

Well good for you Kate. I don't see why all these people can be allowed to make them in the first place. It is unfair to expect this couple not to speak out, if the police can say what they like.

There was also a brief theory that she wandered off and fell down one of the trenches which was filled in, also she wandered off and drown in the sea. But they were all disregarded after the McCanns refused to answer the 40 questions which could have helped the police solve this mystery

Everything weve heard has been speculation.The portugese police had no idea then and have no idea now.If they are so sure of the McCanns guilt they would have charged them by now.I said at the start that I believed they would name them as suspects,then let the case die down,everyone would think they are guilty,and they would say we dont haveenough evidence.They have leaked all sorts of possibilities and theories,knowing the press would print them and so people ,like the haters all believe they are guilty.
I hope the truth will come out very soon so the poor parents dont have to suffer anymore.

if madeleine had fallen downstairs...they would have taken her to a hospital any parent would. you just wouldn't think of yourself and if you'd be accused.These newspapers are thoroughly irresponsible...it might just take one more stupid allegation like this for the mother to have had enough and then kill herself. why are people being so insanely cruel to kate mccann ????

I think they are implying that she may have fallen down the stairs because she had been given sedatives and they had made her disorientated, and thats why her parents panicked and hid her body - it sounds most unlikely I know, but thats what I think they meant in the article.
