No one has held me back, if anyone has it would have been me. I don't think it was bad though - at the time I wasn't ready to go forward. I needed more confidence which I got as I grew older.

I lived in Gibraltar in the late 80s.I was working out there,life was going well.I visited my mother back in England.She missed me so much that i stayed .I never returned back to Gib.I missed out living in Spain And starting my own business.I do not blame my mum thou .I understand why she wanted me to stay.She was ill at the time.I am glad i helped her.But in a way she held me back.I was lucky to get another job.A few years later.

Yes...myself. Comes as a result of making to many bad decisions which I thought were right at the time.

Yes and it was a bad thing!! You should never hold someone back from what they are wanting to do.You should give support and encouragement.

I think that low self esteem and a lack of confidence are what holds you back in life.

I make it a point in life not to deal in "could/should/would have been", "what if" and "if only" - there's absolutely no point. All I have is the "here and now". I must accept it and move on.

I can't be bitter and blame it on anyone. Life is too short, but from those experience it made me a better person.

yes, my ex. I packed my bags at 2 o'clock in the morning, the 21st of november 2000 and never looked back and been very happy.
