Firstly they are innocent because none of the lies told by the Portuguese police to scare innocent witnesses have worked. The other thing is that any lawyer would get the case thrown out due to an internet and media hate campaign preventing a fair trial.
The hate spilled over to the media and thereafter to the police.
All this with not a single thread of real evidence, just police tactics--look back and you will see--all the evidence came from the police and it was ALL subsequently dropped.

Justubackagain. I have no "evidence" but neither has anyone else. There is no evidence that you did not kill her but that does not make grounds for prosecution, and definitely does not make rounds for a brainless hate campaign

Yes mike,there has been no concrete evidence from day one,and even though they tried to frame the parents with their ridiculous accusations,they came up with nothing.

And they can only do that is there is a trial. Would like to see the McCanns on trial ? I would love to !!! SO LAWYERS ADVISE THEIR CLIENTS ON HOW WEIGHTY THE EVIDENCE AGAINST THEM IS -- and the McCanns lawyer gave them the advice we all already know -"there is enough evidence already to convict ... you are going to be charged." Instead the Police made them official suspects... until more evidence came from Birmingham. In the meantime the McCanns fled to England, LOL !!. How do you know the police are lying?
If any lawyer can get the case thrown out of court why hire 4 of the highest lawyers one an expert in extradition.
The British media have not been against the McCanns they have only reported what they have been told by the family and Friends.
And how can you can be sure none of the evidence exists? Even the family and Kate herself admitted there was DNA found in the car and death was sensed on Kate by cadava dogs. They even admitted to the dogs smelling death in the car. You say "All the evidence came from from the police" where on earth was it meant to come from? it's their job to collect evidence? And where on earth did you see it had all been dropped. If it has been dropped why are the McCanns still suspects?

I would very much like to see a trial with a decided outcome. Either innocent or guilty. In my heart-of-hearts I don't believe they are guilty, but then I am not infallible (I thought OJ was guilty! - oh, and Michael Jackson, too). The parents have been put on trial by the media and the public and they need this case to be properly resolved if they ever want any form of life after this.

If the McCanns had acted in a more normal way and not turned the whole thing into a circus ,and answered all the questions and not condoned all the media spin they would have had a great deal more public backing. Now even the grannie is coming out and any drugs that may be found in any dna testing must have been given to Maddy by the abducter !!!

Regardless of whether they are directly responsible of the hideous crime, They are most definitely responsible for leaving 3 very young children alone in a foreign country while they went out on the lash. I have a two year old and there is no way i could be certain that she would sleep all night, with out waking for something or other. If they had been a working class couple from anywhere they would have had social services all over them and they would have been rightfully banged up.
