It has been reported today that the McCanns have been in touch with 2 psychics ,one of whom works for the Daily Record (Gordon Smith ) and asked him to help solve the mystery of Maddy's disappearance. They appear on the Colin Fry show on TV and supposedly help to solve crimes.Apparently they have a 100% failure rate and have not solved any. I wonder why the McCanns chose him ? They could at least have chosen someone with more credibility.

i am a medium and when i first heard about the case i didnt want to get involved as i thought the parents had acted very irresponsibly but after a while i did a meditation to try and help the little girl get home, i sent all the info to the police that i had recieved. i checked it with family and friends and was very shocked about what i had got during the meditation as were my friends and relatives and also the police officer i spoke to at the station. only later was i told that they were stout catholics and would consider me a devil worshipper?. now they are hiring tv mediums to try and help find madeline? i hope that these tv mediums can help and also that someone will look at what information i recieved also along with countless other mediums from all over the world who have tried in vain to help. were not all on the tv but to me that has never mattered i dont want to be on tv,and i dont want publicity now i just wanted to help get the little girl home.im just a normal person that has the ability to do what they do on tv but quite happiliy doing it in my spare time, not all mediums are phony or trying to get money out of people for telling lies some of us are actually genuine people. oh and by the way it really battered my head getting invovled so i wont be doing that again believe me i just hope they find something? this needs to be finished with and the quicker the better. that poor girls been missing too long

They took the long route and consulted a large, when failed they took the short route and consulted a little, now the chance of a medium ever fitting in is slight,so if you have a tall story talk a lot to a medium thats got little sense

Apparently the family have now contacted Gordon Smith and Colin Fry to see if they can find out what happened to Madeline.

They don't believe in psychics etc. Some have come forward and offered help but been turned away. Personally what ever I believed or didn't believe in wouldn't hold me back from finding my child.I would try it anyway.. I guess you could say..I would leave NO stone unturned.

A previous poster said they had contacted Colin Fry - I would say that if this is the case then they *really* don't want to find her.

Google Colin Fry if you have any doubts.

I suspect it is perhaps because there is no recorded evidence of a medium EVER having located a missing child in a case such as this. I'm only guessing, mind.....

probably because they believe that their daughter isnt dead. not all mediums are scum. they dont prey on the greived. if you had a child that went missing, would you want to believe they are not dead.

Regardless of their religious stance, perhaps they simply don't believe that mediums are real.

I personally don't believe in any of that mumbo jumbo. Religion or mediums!

I cant answer that , but what I can tell you is this, these mediums are some of the lowest form of life who prey on peoples grief.
