Hi,i was the same age has you & do not believe the change in law will have any effect. Its the same thing bring in a law
& being young you go out to break it.Mind the young are better educated than I was about smoking. My mam & dad
did advise me not to, wish I had listened.

We are waisting tax payers money because that is what thick politicians do.
This will make zero difference to young people smoking. It is just pointlessly expensive posturing by some morons in Westminster.

It,s a vote getter and will eventually reduce health care costs if enough people listen. But,like any drug addiction,it depends on the will power of the individual,if you are strong enough you can stop,if you are weak you won,t.Passing a law rarely makes a marked difference.

it wont make any diference at all. its just new labours way of getting young people used to Britain being a police state. next! comes raising the drinking age to 21. this government is slowly taking our liberty and our freedom. and no one seems in the slightest bit consirned.

It won't work. I see tons of kids smoking and they are well below 18 or even 16. It is not going to change them, its more of our money wasted

No. I also think that some shopkeepers will still sell cigarettes to those underage. Or at least until they get caught!
