sorry this probably sounds like a really stupid question...

In the US, if I have a lot of small change, I can go to the bank and get rolls to put them in (not that many people do this). Are the same rolls standard in the UK? Do banks give them out for free?

No. Coin bundles in the UK are in small bags, not rolls.

They give you little bags to put the coins in. They are free of charge

we have little plastic bags, they are see through and you can only have a cirtain amoint of money in them, for example, £1 worth of 2p. £10 worth of 50p etc xxx

yeah we have them but they are plastic and see-through, not pretty colours like yours. and yes they are free.
