You've probably worn the brake pads so thin that the drums are worn/warped or the calipers are sticking so they squeek when the wheels are turning. The squeeking stops because you are pressing them against the wheel completely.

Please get your car serviced for safety. In the future, remember it is cheaper to replace brake pads rather than letting them go & wearing out the more expensive parts of the braking system.

Squeeking?

This could just be brake dust between the brake pads and the caliper. If pressing the brake pedal stops the noise, it stops the vibration which is the squeeling noise you are hearing.

the noise you hear is the brake tabs that warn you that your brakes need to be replaced . it is a small thin piece of metal designed to rub rotor or drum when brake lining is thin so you ill get annoyed with noise and change pads.

The sound you hear is or was supposed to WARN you "time for Brakes" once they are replaced it will stop...if you drive too much longer on the current brakes, you risk damage to the rotor's and drum's...

You need new break pads, get them changed before it becomes a more expensive problem, I just had the same problem myself so I know how it feels.

as a results of fact that its a skyline, you're listening to his BOV (blow off valve) or the winding of his rapid. whilst rapid's land up the make a whistling noise and the BOV's make a hiss whilst there is too lots PSI and it releases it.
