The reason it's so windy in this country is cos of those big windfarms all over the countryside. Total waste of electricity if you ask me...

That is so funny. Here in Ireland the sun is blazing and last night's fog is lifting. §

For the first time since records began on here I'm going to rub your noses in it and say that the weather is absolutely beautiful here in the NE of Scotland. Normally is cold damp and dreek. But today we've got the best of the weather.

Sorry that it's rotten with you but we here deserve a break from the bad otherwise we'll will all be suffering from SAD.

You can take comfort though that it is about to change and you are to get the fine weather tomorrow.

Warm, sunny, glorious blue skies, hardly a breath of wind. Going to be a lovely night full of stars.

Oops, nearly forgot - I'm just outside Glasgow.

LMAO,sorry Eggy but they make electricity, not waste it.
I do agree with you that they are not pretty and spoil our
country side but that is the cost of progress and the ever
increasing need for electricity, better wind farms than
Nuclear power stations,a case of the lesser of two evils.
Leeds cloudy with sunny intervals no wind and 16c.
A star for making me laugh egg, funny.

Depends where you are !
I'm just sat here on a beautiful beach in the Grand Cayman Islands..with George Clooney on one side and Mel Gibson on the other..and the weather is goooorgeous !
Then i woke up..and realised its p.....g down here..and what i thought was George Clooney carressing my neck was actually my Springer Spaniel..breathing down my neck !
What a let down !

LOL, it's not windy here!
I'm in Cheshire, its dark, cold and looks like its going to rain anytime soon, which is no surprise because its always raining here.

No, the weather's great here - high of 27C, blue skies and brilliant sunshine (correct, I do not live in the UK, not any more!)

Thumbs down all you like - you're just JEALOUS and you should be!

The wind farm doesn't make wind they use the wind to produce electricity. They don't use electricity they make it.
