My brief story...... Many yrs ago I was in an antique store happened upon a full length oval self standing mirror.
Absolutely stunning piece, even with all the minor imperfections.
The very sight of it stopped me dead in my tracks. I must have stood in front of this mirror a minimum of 15 minutes then made myself comfy sitting on the floor for another thirty. I studied the oak that it was in cased in as well as black scuffs/scratches on the mirror itself. I loved it and I wanted it, but I could not get myself to make the purchase. Of all the very detailed and very clear memories I have of that day, I cannot recall catching even a glimpse of any sort of reflection. No, not because I'm a vampire (as I'm sure some butt nugget would submit) nor was it due to the mirror having damage to its face. Just very simply I have zero memory of a reflection. Bizarre......In hind sight I'm glad on passed on this purchase.

Since each time I stand in front of a mirror, and look into it, I find someone there who I still remembers from the last time, and many times before that, I did the same. I would say that mirrors do have memories, memories that very subtly change over time. I think we do like to check upon ourselves every so often, to see if everyting is ok, for a constant feed of reassurance about our looks and general wellbeing.
But I still wonder what people think when they stand in front of a mirror and look at their very own image fully absorbed. There must be some sort of thoughts, or a monologue of very internal nature, that goes on in the mind at that time. It is never a dialog as we barely think about it, or at least as far as myself is concerned. I think mirrors do not have verbal memories, mostly emotional and sentimental in nature that we do not find need to translate into words after all, 'a picture is worth more than a thousand words'.

Although in reality it is impossible to tell whether or not mirrors have memories or not, it is a nice idea to think that they do.
I would advise you to look up the poem Mirror by the depressed but amazingly talented Sylvia Plath. This poem gives us an insight into what it might be like if mirrors could remember.
In my personal opinion id have to say no but........you never know.
