Some people die to follow fashion trends, some die to know the secrets of certain celebrities, some go crazily after careers that they don't like just to earn money, abd they just let their lives go by like this, empty and meaningless. Why?

a lot of society are like sheep, and i believe they all strive for this stuff because they cant find their own identity

Our human nature demands that our lives are worthy of living. Most people determine worth through a fuzzy process of seeing themselves through the eyes of others. We're always seeking imagined praise.
When we were children, we derived our worth merely by being a child of our parents. Our worth came though a relationship and not something we had to do to earn praise.
Christianity teaches that our worth is through a relationship with our Creator. We have worth simply and only because He creates us and loves us. We don't have to do anything to gain His love but we do things because we want to please Him.

I don't know, but I certainly have done it. I dated this guy that was all wrong for me, but when I thought I might lose him, I started chasing him. When I got him back, I didn't even want him!!!
