Its gone too far.
What makes me sick, is that every year in the world thousands of people - children, elderly folk, teenagers etc.. - vanish without a trace.
What about them? I dont see them in the news every bloody day, day in, day out.
Even the Police here in the UK are sick of it - they said there is so much publicity and the public are stired up into a frenzy, that every time somebody sees a little blond girl, they report it - it is wasting the Police's time and resources and hampering the real leads.
It is obvious she is dead - is it the parents? well, could well be.
The excessive media focus on this single case has actually bread contempt and anger, and it could be seen as over-compensation by the parents which is very incriminating.
If any high court Judge out there wants to get of there *** and stop ponsing about in wigs, they would use there power to put an injunction against any further publicity and let the Police do their job unhindered.

You answered your own question!
The media will only publish what the public want to read. You think the McCann's are "hiding something", so you will continue to buy news papers and watch news programs and click on links that may feed your need for this type of information.
We as consumers of information have sent a very clear message to the media world: you keep publishing stories about Madeleine and we will keep reading them (and spend our money on the sponsors products).
If we don't like what has transpired on this case with regards to the media over exposure, the answer is simple: we as consumers (of both news stories and sponsor products) can simply stop supporting this over focus.
Stop buying papers with Madeleine's picture on it.
Stop buying sponsor products.
Sent a letter to the media companies and their sponsors and tell them what you are doing (this actually works well; sponsors hate loosing money).
We are the tail that wags the dog.

i do no longer understand why that's the authentic breaking information tale, this occasion has been happening for years and a sparkling study grew to become into released in 2011,now that is notably glaring that for the duration of that element there could have been new issues uncovered and new achievable suspects. i in my view do wish that that is significant and finally ends up in a discovery of what somewhat happened to Madeleine, that is awful to think of that somebody is familiar with and however the reality won't in any respect be uncovered yet i'm at a loss for words as to why that could be a extensive headline while that's some thing you will possibly estimated as a result and it is not as though all of us has been arrested or there has been an extremely important progression. besides hopefully that is going to bring about some thing, the undesirable lady has been long gone for thus long without rationalization and her mum and dad should understand the reality in spite of has happened.

I think that the speculation and rumour around the case has gone way too far.
I think the parents would have a hard time hiding anything at all with the amount of media attention around them.

Madeline McCann. A sad story.
With the current state of developments, it appears to be more and more about the parents, about the suspects, about the police and some bizarre "leads" and less about the fact that the child is missing.
I feel for the parents; it is a terrible thing for them to go through. However, they appear to be becoming almost "celebrities" out of this.
All we can do is read the reports, watch the coverage. We all have our own opinions, but at the end of the day, only Madeline and other/others know what happened. And they're not telling.
I do wish however that a little bit of focus would be given to the other missing kids in the world...

Stephen B..I am glad you said that..because I've been thinking that for a while....
A couple of nice casseroles..a couple of smallish rump steaks..a bit like veal id expect...then you'd just need a good pair of strong Kitchen scissors and you could joint the rest up and tupperware it in the freezer....
Pressures off till you have time to dump the bones...
problem is a bit of casserole juice got in the car......
To be honest I would put anything past these two.....

I feel the media have definately gone off on a tangent and it doesn't seem to be about a missing child anymore. All thanks to the media, But then you have to ask who started this media circus in the first place?

That's what I think too. The PORTUGUESE POLICE framed the McCanns, the PORTUGUESE POLICE don't know what they are doing, the PORTUGUESE POLICE should, for all eternity, continue to look for Madeleine and the McCanns, the official suspects in the case, continue to be free out of reach of Justic..., the PORTUGUESE POLICE... the PORTUGUESE POLICE... the PORTUGUESE POLICE... the PORTUGUESE POLICE... the PORTUGUESE POLICE... the PORTUGUESE POLICE...
Let's continue blaming THEM for a crime committed by English people on an English person on THEIR soil. It's all their fault, I say !!!
