After his 3rd suicide bid, he asks

'Why wont you just let me die?'

Does he not realise that this is the easy way out for him, and they wont let him die because justice must be served for those two little girls and he HAS to be punished for what he did. Someone said 'oh, just let him die, good riddence'. I dont think thats right.

Your thoughts please...
Do you think he should just be allowed to take his own life or do you think he should suffer for the rest of his life?

EDIT - Faith, why must you continue to be so vile? Thank you for your answer but there was no need for the insult and I would ask if you kindly kept them to yourself.
Have a nice day.

In first place cut it of.
In second apply some torture.
In third place make him starve do death.
I'm 100% against death row but if somebody have no respect for someones life, just apply this 3 punishments!
Have a star.

We discussed this one on Friday... i personally would hand him the rope, he costs society a lot of money keeping him alive, however, I understand your point about making him suffer. I personally don't think he is suffering enough - he has got it well cushy on the nonces wing, being protected all the time. He needs to get raped in the shower a few more times. You will note that he told the officers that he had taken an overdose, therefore does he really want to die, or does he just want the attention? I think he is just after the notoriety now, if he had really wanted to die he would have found a way, and good riddance!

Huntley, even however infamous he's has rights in simple terms like something human beings and so do the prisoners in his reformatory who experience violently approximately infant killers. yet as somebody has already pronounced, the sufferers families are people who go through whilst a scumbag like Huntley sues the reformatory government. maximum of you who do no longer help the dying penalty might desire to be against any fee being made to Huntley, shouldn't the criminal in simple terms be tried for the attack and function six months extra to his sentence?. I actually do not think he is trying hard enough to kill himself, after all if he got hold of the drugs it doesn't take a genius to do it just before lights out and he'd have 12 hours to die in his sleep. He is attention seeking. If he was really serious about committing suicide then he would have probably confessed as to what really happened.

Whichever way he eventually dies he should be then burried in an unmarked grave.

Huntley needs to be punished for his crimes. He took away the lives of two young girls, their families will suffer every day for the rest of their lives. So there is no way Huntley should be let off the hook.
Let him be an example to any potential killers out there, you will be caught, and you will be imprisoned for the rest of your 'natural' life.............................
If you can't do the time...don't do the crime.

He can't be allowed to take his own life in prison, he has to be protected aswel as punished. What sort of country would we live in if we allowed prisoners to commit suicide?

People who chose suicide often are not in the correct frame of mind to make any decision, especially one of that impact.

However, from Huntley's point of view, suicide IS an option, and he should keep on trying. I imagine he will eventually be successful, but maybe try another method, as this tablets one doesn't seem to be working too well. (3rd attempt)

So I don't think it should be allowed, but just because it shouldn't be allowed, doesn't mean I don't think Huntley shouldn't have another crack at it in the future. I think it is a choice for him.

I agree bulge, he shouldn't be allowed to kill himself. I would take an example from Indian law where the family are entitled to revenge.

I would nail the bas#ard on a chair, put him in soham square and let the parents do what the hell they wanted to him apart from kill him. Take him back to jail, once he's better let them do it again.

This vile scum has no rights to make decisions about anything.

I have already said this in another post. Everytime he does it, revive him and send him straight back. The simple answer to his pill storing for later suicide use, is to make it into a liquid and watch him swallow it.

However, i would bring back the death sentence and invite the family. An electric chair would be okay for him, and i would even volunteer for pulling the switch, or have seven people with seven switches, and only one of them would be the real switch, to ease conscientious's.

I hope that bast**d lives to be a 100 and spends everyday looking over his shoulder in fear of being attacked from other inmates.

Death is too quick and too clean.

If he wants to die so much, why not let the dad's of Holly & Jessica go in a room with in for a little while.

The only way to try and prevent this happening again is to make the punishment severe and long term. He should rot in jail and suffer the other inmates hatred. Death is the easy way out and he knows it...
