The post-game interview with Brett Favre answers your question. He even said he wasn't as good a QB as Marino.

But he might be the best QB in 2007.

I don't know. I'd hate to rank any above another, but pure passing, I'd put Marino and Sonny Jerguenson (70s Redskins) ahead. Elway was pretty amazing physically, and Joe Montana, the most intelligent man to play QB. I didn't get to watch the old-old guys like Unitis to compare, but I'd have to say Brett Favre, with his gunslinging style, is the best QB ever to play the way he plays. It seems Roethlisberger for the Steelers is aiming to become a Brett Favre clone, and if he's ever successful, it will be very good. Favre should be happy to know young QBs are emulating his style.

No. No one thought Dan Marino to be the best when he owned all those records before Peyton Manning and Brett Favre broke them. He's just a great quarterback who's accomplished some milestones.

No - I can thing of a few quaterbacks I would say were better. It just means he has thrown the most touchdowns. However, trying telling my cousin who grew up in Wisconsin that he isn't the greatest quarterback ever and that will go no where anyway.

Good Luck!!!

montana you crazy !
I think hes pretty good but not the best, but dont let my hubby hear that lol!!!
I dont think you can say who the best is because its a team effort, the QB is the main player and the most important one but you cant have a great QB and no RB or WR to win it doesnt work that way all the elements have to be in place. !

It doesn't mean hes the best. It definitely means hes one of the best. Peyton Manning is actually ahead of Favre and Marino if he continues his great play for years and years to come.

he's good but not the best , he is only somewhat good because he broke records but also bad records, records you don't want to break like all time INT butt head records, but he hasn't had much to work with either and thats why he almost pissed himself when they could aquire randy moss. he would be the greatest if his offensive line was the greatest, always remember they can't do jack didly without a good offensive line.

Maybe not the great, but this season alone is enough to enshrine him as one of the big legends of quarterbacks of all time.

no. it just means he is older than hell. brett deserves props for what he has accomplished. however , he is also only a few interceptions away from holding that not so stellar 'most interceptions' record.
