I got "Total" 2gig physical RAM, and only around 1.5gig is "avaiable". Question - How can i increase the avaliable RAM with out buying another stick, OR what RAM optimizing program is the best to use.

You can decrease the amout the video card uses.
The setting is in the BIOS. When you first turn on the computer you need to press a key or key combo to get into the BIOS settings. Depending on the make of the PC, most of them you press DEL, ESC or F1

The rest of the RAM is used by integrated graphics and by the startup and system processes. You can increase available RAM by installing a discrete graphics card. Previously shared RAM (by graphics) becomes available again.
The card will greatly improve 3D graphics performance.
