If they don't spend the fund money they are accused of keeping it for themselves.
If they do spend the money they are accused of spending it on the wrong things.
If they don't hold hands in public rumours of impending divorce circulate.
If they do hold hands in public they are accused of putting on a show.

The pack of hyenas on here jump on everything the McCanns do. They scrutinise every body movement, every news article, every rumour & every step they make. They all claim it's because they care about little Madeline who they have all taking to calling her Maddie even though they don't know her. They all claim that they know what's right for the twins even though they don't know them. They also claim that they know the parents murdered the little girl even though they don't know the parents apart from what they have read in the news.
They are all experts in law. Not just UK law but Portuguese law as well. They are all experts in social services guidelines even though they don't work in that area. They all know how the baby sitting service works at the Mark Warner complex even though they have never been there and they all know how forensics work even though they don't have the expertise and qualifications to back them up.
The sad reality is, is that they know nothing but want blood. They want the blood of the McCanns without having any real facts & evidence. They are all arm chair detectives who give opinions and rant and want people swayed to agree with them. If you don't agree then they act like a pack of hyenas and turn on you. The only difference is that a pack of real hyenas have one queen to lead the pack. The ones on here have many queens and woe betide anyone who doesn't agree with them.
The McCanns are damned by people on here and they will never do anything to appease or please the hyenas. That would be boring for them.

I have to agree with you. It is so ridiculous, and I am stunned at how vicious people are.
We don't know these people, we don't have to take it so personally. Really, if the McCanns are involved in any wrongdoing isn't it better to keep the vitriol for after they have been found guilty?

You're right to an extent, where there's suspicion people will always look further than what is actually presented, generally we can tell when someone is not being genuine, and I don't believe that half of what we see with the McCanns is actually genuine.

They don't talk to the press because they have actually sold their story to the Daily Mirror of how they met in medical school, fell in love got married....what the hell has that got to do with Madeleine?

You are, of course, quite right but we all have our own opinions and that's what makes life interesting. Anyone in the news will always have this problem I'm afraid being that you just can't please all the people all the time.

Not to sound unkind but they chose to be high profile. They said it was so no one would forget Madeleine. Thing is when it comes to the press ... They do what they want! They use you to sell papers, get people switching on TV sets to watch the news etc. Once you become media property ... They'll turn you into the new mother Teresa or Bluebeard depending on what brings megabucks!
