Hi, I came across Ebay sites looking for diamond stud and I see this gorgeous $1,995.00 14K 1.00 cttw. Princess-Cut Diamond Studs that start bidding for $739.99. I'm thinking of bidding on it because it look so beautiful plus they say you can get a 3 day moneyback guaranteed if you don't like but they say it's clarity I1-I2 I mean does it matter if the item look so gorgeous? Or should I hold out on bidding the item? I don't know about diamond that much so please any comment would be appreciative. If you like to get a clear picture of what I'm talking about please check the items out at Ebay typing in $1,995.00 14K 1.00 cttw. Princess-Cut Diamond Studs. And please don't forget to tell me your opinion of it? Thanks.

I do not recommend buying fine jewelry on E-bay. Too much risk for fraud. Are you going to have the earrings appraised by a jeweler once you get them to make sure they are actual diamonds instead of cubic zirconia?

The other thing about buying items through an auction is that sellers count on bidders to get really competitive and stubborn about an item & end up paying more.

I have a friend who bought a loose sapphire through E-bay. She was very dissatisfied w/ the poor quality & had a hard time returning it for a refund.

Lower quality diamonds can be used for small diamond stud earrings depending on the setting.

Consider bluenile.com instead of E-bay. Blue Nile is an established online jeweler and I've shopped with them because a friend in the wholesale jewelry business recommended them.

I wouldn't purchase from there. The seller has only sold 1 other item, the rest are purchases.

If you are looking to buy that quality, you may go to any major retailer of jewelery and get a much better color with the same clarity range for $1499, and even less if you get it on sale. j-k is getting very visibly yellow. I2-I3 can have huge inclusions (visible flaws).

Buying diamonds on the Internet is a crap shoot at best. When the best you can hope for is saving a few hundred dollars with the hope of 3 day return working if you don't like it doesn't seem worth it to me.

If you must buy on line, then choose a seller with a VERY high seller rating, or an established seller like Bluenile.com or Gemhunt.com

It's hard to buy diamonds online so i would hold off. Also i have seen 1ctw studs for cheaper when department stores have holiday sales. But if you must have them look for cut, color, and clarity of the stone.

So attractive! you may attempt Sears or JC Penney or any branch shop or mall rings shop. you may get them for decrease than $a hundred and specific greater like $60. purely examine them heavily and ensure they sparkle and don't seem milky, or they are going to easily be affordable diamonds as a replace of beautiful rings.
