As a Republican I can honestly say that Obama is the best candidate......for the Democratic party! Better than Hillary. My vote will go for John McCain.

Being a Governor of a state is very similar to being the President, but on a smaller scale and with little to no foreign policy experience.

Being a Senator creates very little executive experience, but definitely gives experience in the American political process and special interests.

EDIT: Based on additional remarks...

Speaking out against war is not a reflection of experience. That is what a Senator does. They talk a lot. They have one vote, and don't have to take responsibility for anything. The President has to make decisions that you can't even seem to comprehend. Almost all of the decisions have to do with life and death somewhere in the world.

What bothers me the most is that he came out of nowhere has no experience and shot into a position to run for president.

Yeah, Bush was a nobody too, but he at least had his daddy to explain his popularity.

Obama really strikes me as a back up plan to continue a hidden agenda in case Hillary doesn't make it, Guiliani I feel is also part of it. We don't have a two party system anymore we just have one that is playing us all for fools.

Reagen began the amnesties for illegals, Bush continued it, Clinton continued it and added NAFTA to the mix, Bush Jr. tried to continue the amnesties and added more Trade agreements and other steps to NAU.

Hillary would also continue this trend and how do you think Obama or Guiliani would vote? It's just more of the same, doesn't it strike you as odd that not ONE of the front runners is opposed to the NAU, and that they don't even want to discuss the issue?

Neither Obama nor Bush are worthy of my consideration.
I did not vote for Bush, nor will I vote for Obama. People are wasting their time with these two. There are candidates of
substance running. Let's choose from them and let Hillary
Rodham Clinton and Barack Hussein Obama languish.

obama is still a democrat.
tax and spend
cut and run
national health insurance
we have no choice but to raise taxes
what do you need a road map?
and your worried about bush....im worried because the economy of the us cant take another democrat with failed welfare schemes and confiscatory taxes. it has little to do with experience, just fact.

Obama is not being considered by some people because of his inexperience since Americans do not want to have another Bush which is not conclusive.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.
