We used to make a paste out of laundry detergent and paint Christmas scenes on our kitchen windows. That was 50 years ago, and when ever I smell the same detergent perfume in an isle at the grocery store, I can't help but go back in time. Also the smell of milk toast. (a dry slice of toast with hot vanilla flavored milk and sugar poured over it)

The smell of freshly wet dirt. My Grandpa would water down our dirt yard every morning. I would get up earlier than I had to for school just to get to smell the dirt when it first got wet. The first few rains give me that smell also. I just LOVE it.
