What a lovely old-timers saying! Unfortunately I never saw a penny on the ground to pick up. I think I have some old pre-decimal currency pennies around though, so maybe I'll leave a couple on the floor just in case the saying has some truth in it.

I dont know.. But I have picked up a penny when I was short a penny at the store one time.. I looked at the ground and sure enough there was a nice penny with Abe just smiling at me.

not really...i dont think its true that your get good luck but i know how to for others....if you see a pennyy on the end side not on the up side wen you see the house then if you turn it over on the side with the head and then someone sees it then they will have good luck..it can only happen if sme turns it over to the side with the face,and head../or/
