Lack of education is the basic reason of exploitation. Question is not limited to a particular state. It happens all over the world. Second reason is the money. If the girls can be educated and good employment is given, exploitaion will come down. Farming by slaves in America is more serious where they are treated like animals.

The economic conditions as also the "couldn't care less attitude" of the society at large and finally the huge profits being made out of such exploitation coupled with our "co-operative " police and "slower than snail" legal system are all contributors for such exploitation not only of tribal girls but of any girl from a poor family. Prevention of such exploitation will come only with empowerment - either by economic or by the power of a gun. We have to choose the method.

Tribals lack education, their leaders dont care for their welfare, so tribals have no voice. Girls are exploited in India, the system encourages it.
