I wouldn't know! My husband is the chief and commander of the remotes!!!!!
But I have witnessed him bang it around some at times....LOL
Funny thing is, when he does that, the batteries fall out then he hands it all over to me to reprogram.....lol

i didn't know the batteries are dead. if remote controls were like cellphones where the battery power is displayed then i wouldn't do it.
