I just noticed today that I have a very prominate bump right above my clitoris. It doesn't hurt or itch... just IS!! Is this anything to worry about, it's not hard like a rock but it's not soft either!! Should I give it a few days or do I need to get it checked out!!??

Better to get it checked by a Dr now, and end up laughing because its actually a part of your body....rather than not go to the Dr and end up with serious problems down there later on. The Dr will appreciate your concern either way. Or if you are due for your annual gyn exam, you could just schedule it and bring this up to the Dr then. It really is your choice.

it usually happens because of dryness and then friction. if you haven't experienced dryness or friction, observe it for a couple of days. if it gets smaller or if it starts looking like a pimple. go to the doctor in a couple of days. it might be good to document this as well. take notes. you might want to take pictures but just be careful that you don't loose them or else some nasty person might put them on the web.

Get it checked out. Sounds like a harmless cyst.

Get it checked out asap. Could be something as simple as an ingrown hair. BUT it could also be genital warts or herpes.

Are you sure it's a bump and not like your hood or anything?

wat??
first give a call to your Doc and talk to him. And if necessary go and see him/her (Doc) ASAP. thats a very sensitive and, say, the most important part of your body. I cant tell you're careless, as you've already started to find a solution.
But, please, check it out.
