My recent lightbulb moment was noticing that happiness is largely a choice we make.
Even when circumstances are not what we would chose, we still have a choice in how we react to it.
Happy people, I notice, just decide to be happy, even in the face of adversity.
It may sound too simplistic, but I think I'm happier now that I figured that out!

Was reading an article on how ice can crush the hull of a fiberglass and wooden hull boat, and came up with a new product idea that would prevent this from happening. The boat could still remain in the water, even if the lake was to freeze with ice, the hull on any boat would be just fine. I then set about on finding a company on the internet that would be interested in accepting this New Product Idea to use with their products, and am now awaiting their reply.
So, for about 30 minutes of actual 'work', I stand to earn $5k
for this New Product Idea, selling it outright.
Things like this, happen to me all the time, in fact, this is how I make my living, coming up with new product ideas that solve problems for people.

Today I realized why they call it a windshield, i knew before but never really thought about it. I know it sounds like a no brainer and that's why it seemed like a light bulb moment.
