Hi!

Broad street in Birmingham is usually the place most people go for clubbing and bar hopping on a night out. Reflex, Vodka Revolution, Walkabout, Lloyds No.1, Roccocco, Risa, and Hard Rock Cafe are some of the bars/clubs that dot this street. There are also good bars and restaurants such as Pitcher and Piano, Cafe Rouge, Bank, All Bar One, which are located in Brindley Place, which is just off Broad Street (not very far...one turn and a few steps walking will bring you to Brindley Place).
There are several hotels in Broad Street; Travel Lodge, Jury's Inn, Hyatt, Novotel and City Inn are some of the hotels that I can remember.

The National Indoor Arena is a walking distance from Broad street. Less than 10 minutes, I think.

Hope you'll find this info helpful!

the NIA is next to Brindley Place, with restaurants and a couple of bars. Keep walking through brindley place and you are on broad street, where there are about 20 big bars/clubs. About a 5 min walk from NIA to Broad street.

Re accomodation, no bnbs anywhere near the city centre, there are a lot of cheap private hotels on the hagley rd, a 5 min cab ride from broad street, but it is a bit of a lottery on the quality, otherwise broad street has a jurys inn, hyatt, novotel, city inn and a travel lodge, but they all book up well in advance, so get booking if you want to stay here.

Happy traveling.
