Please don't name him Anakin. I was the fat kid in school so I know how cruel kids are and that name will just draw the bullies to him.
Jake is a name for a sporty type of guy.
Kitster will be called The Kitster or Kit. That name goes to the kid who drinks to much and does stupid things.
Michael is a regular guy's name.
Josue I would pronounce as Jo Sue. The boy would need therapy for being called sue all his life. Listen to "A boy named Sue" by Johnny Cash.
Talyor is popular for girls these days.
With those images in mind, I'd go with Michael or Jake.

I think some are too common, (taylor, michael, jake), I think if you pick Anakin he might get made fun of because of the movie and all, I like Josue, I think Kitster will be a difficult name for a child and sounds somewhat feminine. But besides all that, it's your child, goes with what FEELS right. When naming my kids, as soon as he heard the names out loud, we loved them and they stuck! Good Luck

You can't really go wrong with a name like Taylor, Michael, or Jake since they're all pretty common. IMO naming a child Anakin or Kitster would create awkward social implications. Josue is interesting but I'm not too sure how it's pronounced.

Taylor - I know its a name for both genders, but I mostly hear it used for females
Anakin - he'll get picked on because it is a Star Wars reference
Josue - unique; can't see a downside
Michael - great meaning behind it
From the Hebrew name מִיכָאֵל (Mikha'el) which meant "who is like God?". This is the name of one of the seven archangels in Hebrew tradition and the only one identified as an archangel in the Bible. In the Book of Revelation in the New Testament he is portrayed as the leader of heaven's armies, and thus is considered the patron saint of soldiers.
Kitster - sounds like a name for a cat
Jake - can't think of anything to say about this one

Don't torture your child by calling him Anakin! He will be tarred forever by the Star Wars thing - what if he ends up hating the movies! Don't do it!
The others are nice. I've never met a boy named Taylor before though. All the ones I've met have been girls.

Michael is a good wholesome name. There are plenty of nick names and they can grow with the name Michael.
I have a son named Michael, and he is a High School History Teacher in Indiana.

ok..here's my opinon:
*Taylor - i love that name so much, sure it's a little common, but it is common for reason. rite?!!
*Anakin - reminds me of Anakin Skywalker from Star Wars, but that no big deal, i still like it, and haven't meet an Anakin, so its good too...
*Josue - i have never heard of that name, so i looked it up...at first i was like whoa! what!? but now that i have said it a few times, it is growing on me, so i also like it...but it wouldn't be one of the names i personally would choose, but it is nice.
*Michael - is way to common for my taste...plus i had like 7-8 in my classes when i was in school so i dan't care much for the name
*Kitster - I just don't like it for some reason...
*Jake - Even though it is so common, i Love the name. If i ever have a son, i will probably name him Jake....

Taylor - ok
Anakin - may as well stamp "bully me" on his forehead
Josue - Is it pronounced "Joe-sway"? because the other children are going to say "Joe - Susie", unless you are sending him to a rich private school where all the kids have pretentious names anyway.
Michael - ok
Kitster - save that one for a pet.
Jake - Jake is a nickname, usually for Jason or Jacob.
