The other day I bought a pair of black skinny leg jeans from Jay Jays (an Australian store) and tried them on and they fit fine at the waist and because I was in a rush I bought them, however after taking them home I realised they are too baggy on the legs and slightly baggy at the waist... I've worn them once so I can't see them letting me return them as I threw the tags out, is there anyway I can shrink them to fit me more tightly? However, I don't want skin-tight jeans, I just want them to fit properly...

1) Wash & dry the jeans in warm water & medium heat once before attempting to shrink them. The jeans may shrink a bit on their own w/ the first wash & dry.

2) If the jeans are still too loose after you've worn them for an hour or two after the first wash, then attempt to shrink them using one of the methods mentioned above.

I suggest washing in warm water, cold water rinse to preserve the color. Then dry on high for 30 minutes. Check the jeans & dry more if necessary in 15 minute increments.

If you only want them to fit for the time that you are wearing them turn them inside out and run them through a hot water rinse. Happy jean wearing.

The best thing to try is to wash them and put them in the dryer... If it doesn't work then you may just have to get smaller jeans...

very very simple....you wash them and put them in the dryer for at least an hour and make sure the dryer is set to the hottest it can go...they will shrink...you may have to repeat the process, depending on how much they shrink, and how much they need to shrink...good luck
