My son was in the breech position and i had to have a Cesarean and there were no problems i was very nervous about the whole thing but everything turned out great. The doctors gave me other options such as them trying to turn the baby from the outside, but after much thought i decided to go for the Cesar. Everything will be fine, try not to worry about it too much. All the best!

Just wanted to add that a c section is not bad at all. I was up within four hours of my son been born and did everything for him from then. The only thing i couldn't do was drive a car, people that complain about how bad c sections are exaggerating. I never had a problem! And i had never even ad an operation or stitches before then!!! Don't worry about people scaring you, everything will be fine!

Breech babies just means that the baby is not positioned head first to come out of the "birthing canal". but there shouldn't be a problem with the baby. Breech births are becoming more common. I don't know anyone personally, but i do watch a ton of those baby shows (i have nothing better to do in the morning) on Discovery Health, and lots of those babies are born breech with no complications. So i think yu'll be fine and i hope yu have fun with yur new child :3

Sounds allot like what I went through with my 1st baby. He was head down when I was 36 weeks then after a couple days he did a flip in my tummy I went to my doctor he said. He was breech, so he said their is a 90 % chance that I will have a C-section. So It did turn out that way. I had a C-section, which wasn't great, but the out come was wonderful it took about 45 minutes. I got to hold my baby right before they cut the cord. My second was gonna be automatically cesarean. Its still a beautiful experience you just don't feel the pain of pushing, but lots of pressure. After you go home you'll feel a little pain. Just relax and enjoy your new baby. Because your always gonna say he was so worth it. The safest way for the baby is to have him/her Cesarean, when he/she is (breech) . Just relax you'll be fine I went through the it already he is very healthy, and a trouble maker. God bless you. I wish the best for you and the little one.

I am assuming that your baby was a short time ago head down. If the baby turned from head down to breech within a short time it is possible that the baby may turn back. When a baby is found to be breech earlier on, at about 36 weeks a version is sometimes scheduled where the doctor manually turns the baby to a head down position. This procedure is uncomfortable and is successful about half the time. At gestations closer to the due date external version has a poor success rate.
If the baby is still breech on Wednesday a Cesarean delivery will be much safer for your baby than a vaginal delivery. You could request your doctor attempt a version (especially if your baby has recently turned breech and hasn't been "stuck" in that position for a long period of time). Your doctor will go over the risks and benefits of having this procedure at this gestation.

Yes u can opt for the C-segment. My aunts child used to be breech close to until the tip. She used to be under no circumstances going to allow them to flip it. She used to be picking out the C-segment. The child did flip however she ended up with C-segment in any case. This process u speak of have got to be the only in which they are trying to show it even as u are in hard work. Why they might desire someone to move by way of that's loopy. That would possibly nonetheless no longer paintings and u would nonetheless turn out to be with a C-segment. It will simply put on u out extra. Tell your midwife if that child do not flip u desire to have a scheduled C-segment.

You may be suprised and when u go in there the baby may have turned itself back in the birthing position. yes it is normal for this to happen all the time. but its best for u and the babys safety that if its still butt first coming out to have a c section so that is not hard on u or the lil one. the out comes are fine. for c sections just u will go threw the dialating and all that but will not have the lil one come out down there instead ur belly will be cut below ur belly button they will lay ur inside out on ur belly to get the baby and than put ur insides back in an close u up its not that bad as it sounds hope i didnt scare u with those details. good luck... and ur belly will be sore more than a regular vaginal delivery for bout 3-4 weeks until it starts to go back to normal use bedadine on it this will heal it up quicker not calamine lotion this will make it itchy

I found out the day before I went into labor. The doc's wanted to try to turn him but his head was stuck in between my rib cage...like in the V. They couldn't turn him. I had planned to try to get him to turn myself by using the tips on this website I will list below. I REALLY did not want a c-section. In the end I didn't have time to even try any of the tips and HAD to have the c-section. Everything turned out fine but I HATED the c-section. I hated to feeling of being completely paralyzed from the chest down, I hated not getting to touch my baby other than with one hand when he was born, I hated having my baby stay in the nursery because I couldn't get out of bed to take care of him because of a c-section, I hated the pain and the recovery time. I felt like my baby bonded more with daddy than with me in the first month because I couldn't really bend to lift and put him down. Someone always had to hand him to me. BUT I do have to admit that I was ADAMANT that I would have a NATURAL child birth. The c-section was a blow and I probably made it worse than it really was because I was so mad about it.

i am 40 years old and i was a breech baby. no c-section! i was born feet first. so, NO, they don't HAVE to be c-sectioned; the doctors get more money doing a c-section and there is less chance of human error (so as not to get sued).

Nothing different than any other c section. In fact I prefer c sections, I'm having my second elected in December. I had a great experience. Basically it's a birth with a nice schedule and no pain. I would be excited if I were you. Congrats!
