No, it isn't. You'll have to make a myspace artist page, but if you're going to upload a song onto it, make sure people can't download it. Don't make it downloadable. That way you can have it on your profile, but the artist doesn't lose money. The artist page could get deleted by myspace any time though seeing as it's not legit.

Copyrighted material including song recordings are the property of the artist or the recording company. Even if you were to buy a song for 99 cents legally, it would not empower you to distribute it. While it would be unlikely that you would be found, any works that you do not personally own would be infringing on the copyright and is subject to $250,000 fine and/or 5 years in jail. If you are willing to take that risk, then by all means host the song on your website.

Is it legal? You are really asking how to define "fair use."
If you upload the entire music, the copyright owner will probably complain (once they find out), as someone else can easily copy it.
If you are advertising for some product in your page, then, it is definately illegal, as it constitutes commercial use.
If you upload a SMALL portion, you are probably safe. It's not that much different from quoting from a book.

Yes it is illegal to move/copy any song from a cd to anywhere basically. Although you can still search for your song on myspace. They have a lot of songs.

Uploading copyrighted music (that you don't own the copyright for) is technically illegal if you don't have permission from the copyright holder.
You would most likely get an email/message/letter asking you to please take the music down. (If anyone notices)

No, it isn't legal, at least not in most jurisdictions, unless you have the permission of the copyright holder.
