I have been offered a new job which will involve me using a Mac which I have never used, I am not very computer savvy, this job will involve me e-mailing photos to clients and editing video clips to e-mail, I will get some training on the job but I am a bit intimidated. Is a Mac easy to navigate/easy to learn? Using the computer is not the main part of my job but I will have to do the above things on a regular basis. How hard do you think this will be for me?

It's similar to Windows in certain ways, but you should definately get some tutoring before starting the job, you need to know the basics.

The local college here has Macs, and tutoring classes for free. Try the adult ed department, or your local college to see if they can help. If not, consider a private tutor to get you up to speed fast.

I have used a PC for as long as I can remember and I transitioned to Mac over the summer. I own a MacBook Pro and it is super simple to use. The transition is very simple and the only main difference is there is only one mouse button rather than two. Macs are awesome and are very easy to get accustomed to no matter what the die hard PC/Windows people say

Mac is easy. There are 3 and 4 year old kids out there using them. Think of Windows without all the problems. You will probably have more problems with details of editing.

The main thing is with the mouse you hold down the control key and click to get the right click context menu.

Apple has some good info to get you started.
