This is a clear case of animal abuse and rights violation. This is gross insult to pigs, generally pigs are docile creatures who mind their own business in mud, they dont go on mud slinging campaign.

The real issue inthis controversy is :
" To cut sethu to facilitate quicker navigation " or "leave it in tact"
Five alternative plans leaving the sethu intact have been rejected by NDA govt on technical grounds.
The one to cut the sethu , which is submerged in water, a little was approved by NDA govt.in 2003.
Now when UPA govt. wants to proceed with it, BJP has raised the bogey of disrespecting Lord Ram.
It may be noted that whileLord Rama has used it to to go to Sinhala, he could not use it for return journey,since it got submerged. Hence,Bahagwan and Goddess Sitha came in pushpak viman.

Though he has shown disrespect to Lord Ram, it is not correct to say names such as this. I can understand your feelings, but Karunanidhi is the CM and leader of the political party which runs the state. I also can not agree with his remarks, but leaders talk like this always. Actually, he should issue a statement withdrawing his earlier statements regarding Lord Ram.

He got the love and respect of all of Tamilians ,the Great leader of all time there is blessing of the creator and love of the Almighty.we tamiians want sethu at any cost.as for you posting ask to the BJP's Hippocratic politic ans whom are making political benefits development project.the doors of hell are opened for them even Ram will not forgive them.

He is getting old and somehow, he wants to retain his power, otherwise, his children (stalin and kanimozhi) will fight to take over the reigns.
