Get rid of the friend NOW!!!!
If their not already having an affair physically their certainly doing it emotionally , take it from someone who just lived through this get rid of her stop inviting them out or over to your house and tell him point blank game over you dont want her around , if he gets defensive and abusive then I'm sorry you'll know I am right.
the woman my husband cheated on me with was exactly how you describe your "friend" he loved how out going she was , how she mingled and flirted and touched his arm , when they'd kiss hello it would linger on the cheek so would the hug get rid of em now.

I can relate, i had asked my husband to look at my car, i got many excuses and attitudes, my girlfriend stops by one day to ask him to look at hers, he jumps up out of bed like flash gordan, throws his clothes on like the house is on fire, and bolts outside to take a look, he was so nice to her, "i'll get right on it", i was so mad at him, how the hell can she get her car fixed and mine is still not, men can be so insensitive to the wives, taking us for granted, i would sit him down and be honest with how it makes u feel, also give him a scenario, how would he feel if u seemed to always have his friend's name rolling off of your tongue.

Tell him that he is being disrespectful of you, and ask him how he would appreciate it if you were doing that with the husband of this girl. Tell him that this is not at all acceptable, and it needs to stop right now.

Don't let it go girlfriend. You confront him head on and talk about the responsibilities of protecting the marriage. You need to feel cherished by him, and he needs your respect. This is something you guys need to talk about.
Your seeing signs that is making you feel uncomfortable, don't ignore it.

Your husband sounds "gregarious" maybe? Is that the right word?
Sometimes guys are just happy to have someone around that actually listens to the same stories you have heard 500 times, and maybe laughs at his stupid jokes.
It is good that you told him, but I wouldn't worry about it.

I would. I think he's being rude and disrespectful to you. Tell him that it hurts your feelings when he pays so much attention to her. You should be the most important one.
