-Educated or not I no longer care what you say. I suppose that you're the one who had the poor education experiencing difficulty understanding questions. were the ones trying to understand you "GAYS" and we are ******* sick of seeing you brandishing your own beleif of lifestyle. spreading dreaded desease and propagating evil to innocent youngs!

I don't actually ask these to get humiliated by gays. but seems to me, even those who are not, become more sinister in their replies!

Hey people! I am entitled to my own opinion, and I can ask anything I want to. If you perceive my question offensive, then explain to me in your sane person the answer I seek on why the hell, you are gay!

this is for the ones who have reasonable replies, though your answers are brief, I appreciate those informations given. however, I wish I could do mere and know more about these subject Thank you for your time...

You know what, if we knew we would tell you. Just about all of us say that we are born gay. Personally, I have never found women physically attractive. My sexuality came as naturally to me, as I imagine yours did. I just started noticing guys, when all the other guys were noticing girls. I understand that heterosexuality is obviously what nature intended for people, but nature doesn't always get it right. I don't feel deficient, just different. I have a good life and I play the hand I was dealt like everyone else.

While your question is extremely bigotted, I will touch upon the points you gave:

[chromosoms(sic) defeciency]
No, it's nothing to do with a "chromosome deficiancy", that would lead to obvious defects of which the few inflicted with it survive past early in utero development.

[genetic abnormality]
As I believe it to be mostly genetic, I'd have to say this is the closest cause. But calling it an abnormality is like saying that ginger hair is an abnormality - it's uncommon but it doesn't give any disability.

[Heridetary]
As it's genetic, it's either hereditary or the result of a common mutation.

[Curiosity]
If you're curious about relations with the same sex you're either gay or bi. Anyone completely straight would consider it a complete turn off.

[mental deficiency]
I'm not sure why you even suggested this, there's no evidence to suggest this.

[inability to court the opposite sex]
I have to say, well duh. Though it's not really the inability, it's the complete lack of desire to. Would you call your complete lack of desire to court a plank of wood the "inability to"?

[weak self esteem]
This generally shows up in gay people but is a direct result of society's average opinion against them, not the cause of it.

[Humiliating experiences]
Not sure how a humiliating experience could alter your sexual orientation. You'd need to explain how you think this would cause it.

For the most part, you're guilty of assuming heterosexual supremecy which is extremely arrogant and bigotted. Have a little respect for people who are different to you, you probably even have friends who are bi/gay but don't have the stereotypical camp persona, would you consider them to be inferior if you found out?

You want to understand us, but you set up a list of reasons for the origins of orientation that frankly come straight out of your imagination, and most of your choice of words are inflammatory.

I have a 140+ IQ, so it's not mental deficiency. I don't have an inability to court the opposite sex, my self-esteem is fine, no humiliating experiences, etc. You list possible physical reasons and refer to them as deficiency or abnormality. Since we don't yet understand the mechanics of orientation, calling them by names like that may make you feel better, but it doesn't make them scientific.

Why are people gay? Because they are. Really, the reasons don't matter because virtually every LGBT person is not interested in "converting" anyone. All we want is to be allowed to be who we are, and since who we are doesn't impact you, I don't see a problem.

I believe that homosexuality is genetic and runs in one's family.

Also, I believe that everyone has differing degrees of homo and heterosexuality. Most people tend to be heterosexual, because it is most common and socially acceptable. It is easiest to be hetero in most societies today.

To address your answers below:
* chromosoms defeciency - not a deficiency, many homosexuals are creative, intelligent and productive - lots of homosexuals in Hollywood!

* genetic abnormality - Abnormality is too strong of a word

* Heridetary - Yes, I agree. I have cousins who are gay

* Curiosity - That just makes your curious. If you like homosexual sex, it doesn't make you a homo. You've got to be at least bi if you keep engaging in homo sex while you claim to be straight..

* mental deficiency - see chromosome deficiency answer above

* inability to court the opposite sex - That's just poor social/people skills. If you like the opposite sex, you like the opposite sex. You won't settle for the same sex. Same sex dating is actually more difficult.

* weak self esteem - Many homosexuals do have weak self esteem, because it is still frowned upon in many societies.
Weak self esteem doesn't make you gay.

* Humiliating experiences - Everyone has humiliating experiences...don't even think that this will make you gay.

-First of all, it shouldn't matter to you if you are not gay. Gay people exist accept that fact. You a right that you are entitled to yout own opinion, however, homosexuality isn't chosen, it is not a deficiency, or anything of the sort.

"I dont ask this question to annoy or to antagonize groups"
-Yes you did, you are a liar.

None of the above. All your "reasons" seem to show that homosexual people are inferior or "sick" in a way. Homosexuality is nothing like that., please get yourself more educated on the subject.

Updated: At first you sound just uneducated but somehow a little sincere, but now you're just bitching out. Geez, man, get a hold of yourself. You're a dude, you dont experience PMS, do you???? Here's a suggestion: stop posting stupid things online, instead go jerk off or something. Hmmm talking about jerking off, I think you're mad because you haven't got laid lately eh? Or prob you haven't got laid at all. Not a surprise, if you ask me....

The way you have this question worded is really bad and only implying that homosexuality is an inferior complex. Please re-phrase your question if that is really not your intent.

Just a side note, it has been documented and proven than hormones do affect offspring. But you should really rephrase your question first.

"I dont ask this question to annoy or to antagonize groups."

You did it for precisely that reason. I notice from your spelling you are poorly educated so perhaps you have not read very much on the subject. Get yourself an education and you might not be tempted to ask such puerile questions.
