Psyche - it means the greek goddess of soul

I just heard of somebody who name their daughter like this.... i thought i might be too conservative of me to think this name is way too weird.so i thought i could better ask you guys. i wouldn't name my child like this.

Not a good idea. As cute as it may sound to you, the poor kid will have to deal with being called "Hey psycho or psychotic " the rest of their years. Kids are cruel. Please don't name a child anything you yourself wouldn't want to deal with.

I like the uniqueness of it.....but I agree with a previous answerer. The child will be called "psycho" or "psychotic". If you're looking for unique names, might I suggest a few.

No. The meaning is wonderful but you know when you're a certain age (kinder) there's always a reason for kids to make fun of you.

I wouldn't use it either. The meaning is alright but not everyone knows the meaning when you say the name to me its alittle to close to Psycho! lol Just my opinion.
Its not for me.

I might think of it, but my husband would never agree to it. I'm fond of nontraditional names, but they're certainly not for everyone!

It depends on how it is pronounced i suppose!!! But if you say it like its written then i don't really like it, im sorry!!!
But the truth is that if you like it then go ahead and name your baby it!!!!
