I take thyroid and had it checked. It's normal. My hair has been pretty long for about 5 yrs. and I pull it up almost every day in a big clip. I'm getting it cut this week. Oh yes, I take vitamins everyday. Had a complete hysterectomy yrs. ago and quit taking estrogen a couple of yrs. ago. Any ideas out there or is anyone else going through this? thanks

You might want to change product to see how that works for you. Additionally, you may want to increase your level of hydration; drink more water.

My mother has had success with the 'My Crown and Glory' line:

You can get it at your local Whole Foods Market. With th use of the shampoo and conditioner, she noticed a lessening in hair loss, an increase in hair volume, and less breakage.

Dealing with your hair with good, nourishing product may help. If you don't see an improvement, I'd recommend following up with your endocrinologist to make sure nothing's amiss with your thyroid function.

Best of luck to you . . .
