That may be a level up from where you should be looking; all of the schools you mention are extremely difficult to get into, among the very top in the country. Northwestern HPME only accepts a total of 30 students each year. I would expect that you would need a very nearly perfect record to get into these. Your grades and scores are very good - I don't mean to be critical, but you are talking about programs which are so exclusive that only a few people per state get in each year.

Michigan and Northwestern you have a good chance. MIT is tricky, but possible depending on what you want to study and just how good your math and science scores are; remember the smartest people in the world go there for math and science, so if you think you're a hot-shot get ready to feel normal or inadequate. Stanford will also depend on what you have to offer them (got money? you'll need it).

You are qualified to get into all of those schools -- and will get into some good school. But lots of qualified students get rejected from those schools. Stanford only accepts about 8% of applicants. If we assume that half those who apply are qualified (and I think it is higher) -- then only 16% of qualified applicants get in.

You need to do something to stand out. In particular, you need a killer admissions essay.
