It depends on the girl, but I actually think most girls do it to look "cutesy" rather than "hot." I had a phase where I did it, not because I liked doing it or thought it was flattering, but because I HATE my teeth, and it gave me an excuse to not smile in pictures. I wouldn't call girls who do it whores...I mean some may be, but those girls are whores whether or not they pucker their lips in pictures. If you want to know what's "whoreish," it's when girls do that pose where the have their fingers in a "v" and their tongue sticking through. Why on earth a girl would want to pose as if she's licking a vagina, I'm yet to figure out. I mean, I think that's even more immodest than posing topless in a way. Everyone knows you have boobs at least. Not everyone has to know you condone slutty sexual acts.

i don't know about the kissy face...,but i usually make a goofy face cause i don't like my pictures so if i comes out bad it's not cause im ugly. maybe they do it because they are insecure.

Well ya never know who might see the picture, and if its a hot guy who could be the man of your dreams, you got to do everything you can to make him think you are the hottest thing alive! And some girls just love themselves and think they are hot!
