Today at Walmart I found a crumpled up dollar bill on the ground. I picked it up and took it home, and a little while ago I smoothed it out and looked at it, and I realized that someone had written Seize the day real big across the front of it in permanent marker. Now, I'm guessing that this person dropped the dollar bill on purpose. I know what the phrase means like use this day, look for oppurtunities and such, but I'm guessing this person was trying to give some deeper advice. Does anyone have any ideas of what message they were trying to get across?

carpe' diem! if i found that i would consider it to be an audacious sign to enjoy life to the fullest....i think it's a great message!

even if some would consider it to be superstitious to do these things, so?...whatever you want to lable it i think it probably has positive energy attached to it, because it's a positive thought, what could be wrong with that?

Well it makes me think of everytime I have found money!! and I feel so good about that...A five dollar bill on a beach in Unalaska, a hundred dollar bill in a belt(with the zip pocket), and fifty dollar bill crumpled on the floor in a Star market in Hawaii...there are others too..But yes you are to sieze the day and feel wonderful and lucky to find someone wanted to give you that lucky feeling! I think of all I lost too but can only hope whoever stole or found my things is happier with them than i would be....Its almost like a horoscope isn't it...

Have the bill laminated .First thing in the morning, read 'Seize the day' written on it a couple of times and let your mental make up follow it.No superstition but a way for a positive auto suggestion.See if it helps or works better, just as an experiment. (Note:-Some times opportunities come in hidden forms and it's for us to recognize and explore without being superstitious.)

To me it means don't be cranky, bad mannered or even a little unhappy.Even it it is cloudy and raining the day is good.
Always try and look on the bright side of things for there will always be lesser and greater, better and worse, black and white.
So spend your dollar on a casket ticket it could just be lucky enough.

Yes it is quite simple. it is a superstitious belief that if someone writes on money and passes it along there will be good fortune. Totally not true. So do not let superstition rule your life or have that power over you making you do things that are truly worthless.

If you seize the day, the result would be seizures, and you don't want that.
