1. It isn't the toughest division in the NFL anymore. last year it was, but times have changed this year. The Chiefs don't have a chance, the Chargers are in a funk, might not even make the playoffs, the Broncos barely beat 2 weak teams and lost 2 more. The Raiders, your team doesn't look too bad this year, i've watched them play, but they still need a solid win over a good team to even be thinking about the Super Bowl or even the playoffs.
2. Super Bowl? Raiders have a long ways to go yet. They are rebuilding under Kiffen. They need to win their division games if they want to do anything this year, but i just dont see it happening. it's possible, but i doubt the Raiders will pull it off.
3. Don't get too excited about anything this early in the season. I'm a Packers fan and we're 4-0, but i do know this, one step at a time. I'm not saying that the Packers are among the best right now and am bragging about us making the playoffs this year, i'm looking at where the team must improve. Our running game is horrible, we just can't rely on Favre forever to carry us, because that doesn't win Super Bowls. I'm sure the Raiders have a lot of work to do as well to improve their team. They lost to the Lions at home already, that hurts. you have to win your home games. Raiders did get screwed over against the Broncos, but hey, it happens, revenge is sweet though right? victories over the Browns and Dolphins are not that impressive, but they are wins and can be used to build confidence. Good luck to your raiders, just remember, one step at a time.

If they are competitive in the West Division that would be an incredible improvement over last year's abysmal performance. Even making the playoffs after last year would be incredible for Raider fans. The Raiders may be able to win their games against KC, Denver and SD, but reality will hit when the Raiders play teams like the Colts, the Packers and the Bears.

i love the raiders but lets not get carried away yet, and also the afc west is pretty weak this year for the first time in a long time its not the strongest division, but that being said we do have a chance to win the west probably with a 9-7 or 8-8 record i say go silver and black, and remember THERES NOTHING GREATER THAN AN OAKLAND RAIDER!!!!

Hold on Speedy Gonzales :) Remember, your two wins were against the Browns (2-2), and the Dolphins (0-4). However, I do applaud the Raiders for beating the suckiest teams in the league. Your still in the bottom 5 in the worst teams, but your not the worst. Beat Denver and San Diego and then talk about division title. Cheers!

Boy, is THAT undesirable information for the Raider usa! I doubt Al will ever see a prevailing season, for the duration of his tenure, no longer to show a SB? I agree, perhaps he's been lifeless for years, already.

I'm a Raiders homer, but I think I'll wait awhile to start screaming Super Bowl. We still have a long way to go, but it looks a lot better than last year.

Celebrate each and every win. Didn't they have a 2-14 season last year? They've already tied last year's win record.

Yeah, I liked Dante having his chance to rub it in. By the way, Joey Harrington had a QB rating of 121.7 today.
