My husband gained weight with me too when I was pregnant. I would eat often but only eat a very tiny portion because I would get full fast. My husband would eat a normal meal every time I was hungry. We've been together 10 years (married 5) and we seem to always lose and gain weight together even when I'm not pregnant. 11 weeks pregnant with #2. Congrats to you and your fiance!

my husband gained at least 10 lbs. with all 4 of my pregnancies, but he also jumped on the bandwagon and lost the weight with me also when it was over and I was trying to lose weight. I loved it, it made me less insecure about my changing body and he was a great sport about it. He would always say, " at least you have an excuse to gain weight, I'm just going along with you."

When my g/f was pregnant I ate with her all the time, though I never gained any weight, I've been the same for a couple of years now though... but I've heard of other people gaining weight, so it's nothing out of the ordinary.

LOL not a guy here but it is oh so true in my marriage! Not only that but while i would lose weight from morning sickness he would get all the wierd food cravings and eat like a pig...For both pregnancies now! His latest kick is corned beef with cabbage....not something I would touch even if it was a craving!

its been known for guys to put on weight during their partners pregnancy. Some even get morning sickness. Its nothing to worry about and most people lose it pretty soon after the birth.
Congrats on the baby :-)

when i was pregnant, my CAT got fat with me!! i laughed cuz i wuz like, 'haha i'm gonna pop this kid out and you're still gonna be fat!' kinda like pets take on their owners personality?
anyway, if you enjoy eating with her, maybe try eating less amounts. and encourage healthy snacking. and you can look forward to maybe losing the weight with her too. dependign on your lifestyles, you can go for walks together or fing other semi'active things to do together. this will make her feel better about herself too!
