This is a fickel question and requires a fickel answer.
I am morally against abortion. I believe that life begins, even before, conception and that aborting the life is murder (which is a sin.) As a religious individual, I feel that NOTHING occurs without a purpose (this is not saying that an individual born is pre-ordaned to do something. We are ALL given Free Will). Having an abortion is taking, what may be, the next great inventor or leader out of the world permanently. I think that a certain responsiblility should be taken by the women in conceiving the child and the punishment should not be laid upon this individual growing inside her.
Now, that being said. I cannot agree with a complete ban on abortions. I recognize in this world are "necessary evils." I have done research in the past and found that when abortions were illegal many women died, needlessly, in back-alley procedures. These could have been prevented by having laws in place to limit, not prohibit, the practice.
God granted us with the ability to make choices concerning different things in our life. He also warns that we will be held accountable for those choices.
Whether or not you believe in him, you will be brought before him and will have to answer for what you have done. If you are already saved AND have asked for forgiveness I believe that your sins are no longer seen by the Father. If you have not then I pray for you (I would like to be able to do more but it is not up to me give forgiveness. It is up to you to ask for it.)

I am Pro-Choice and I believe the decision is a very personal one.
Although I am Pro-Choice, I do not think that abortion should be used as a means for birth control. But there are reasons that an abortion should be considered.
And for one of the Pro-Lifer's out there - I do wish that I had been aborted or at least adopted by parents that would have loved and taken care of me, instead of living a life with abusive biological parents. Again, another personal choice.

In my opinion, it's wrong unless having the baby will put the mother's life at risk or if the mother was raped. If you think you are responsible to have sex, then you must be responsible enough to take care of a child. I wasn't ready to have a baby when I found out I was pregnant but I did the right thing and am thankful every day for my daughter. Yes if the circumstances are wrong, it can be rough to take care of a child but there is plenty of help out there if you need it. I am a single mom, my baby's father wanted me to have an abortion and I said no so he bailed and if I can raise a child by myself then anyone can. Abortion is copping out and it's also a sin. How would you like it if you mother had an abortion when she was pregnant with you? I don't mean to sound judgmental so please don't take it that way, I am just giving you the opinion of someone who has been in a bad situation and came out of it fine.

I consider myself pro-choice and pro-life.
I believe that there are times when an abortion is a genuine need for some women. There are women who medically need abortions in order to live. My mother was one of them. I would not be around today if my mom hadn't gotten an abortion, because she would be dead and I never would have been born.
I also believe that a woman should have the choice to have an abortion if she has been raped and conceived a child from that rape.
I don't believe in abortion as a form of birth control. Say if someone forgets to use a condom, and winds up getting pregnant. I disagree with women who do that.
But, I don't agree with the lawmakers of our country deciding on whether abortions should be illegal or not. I firmly believe that it is a woman's choice, and should remain so. It is not a choice for rich old white men to decide. It is between the woman and the father of the child.

Abortion like other medical procedures has its place in the world, but indiscriminate abortions to replace self awareness is not a desirable outcome. Abortion is a necessary evil at times, and it is in the hands of the Human Being who is carrying the baby and her doctor and spiritual guide, best friend and mother. Sharing at a time like this is always important.

I believe that it is a personal choice and if that person chooses to have an abortion, they will have to live with it. It is not up to me, you or the govt. to say what is right for someone`s decision. If u consider it to be murder, ur not the one committing it, so don`t pass judgment on others that do. without knowing the full circumstances of their choice. Personally, I would choose not to have an abortion, but I wouldn`t impose my belief on everyone else.

It is a choice and should be completely legal until the second trimester. After that, only for physical or mental emergences or problems.
Prolifers who are for it in cases of rape:
Why does it matter how she got pregnant, and how does rape stop it from being what you *think* is "murder"? How will a rape be proven in time for an abortion, or even at all?

Well, I'm really undecided. There are some circumstances where abortion would seem "understandable". For instance, if someone got pregnant from getting brutally raped. Then again, if you're going around having unprotected sex and what not .. and using abortion as a form of BIRTH CONTROL, then I wouldn't approve of that at all.

Not as a general rule. The thing is abortion isn't a one size fits all situation. If you where raped or you could die,or the baby will be born only to suffer and die etc.,yes.As a form of birth control NO! I knew a woman (thing) that had one because it would ruin her figure,or so she thought.I know dogs that are smarter than that and we have them spayed.

Abortion should not be a choice. So many people are begging to adopt a baby. If a woman doesn't want to get pregnant, then stay away from the men. Sorry, but nobody should be able to end the life of a living child.
