Haha. My friend keeps all of her shoes in the boxes they came in, and puts all of the boxes in her closet. It's weird. But store pictures. Or make a bird feeder. Be imaginative!

I used to use them for pictures or bills. I have also made projects for my school age kids. Otherwise if they're the really sturdy ones where the lid is attached at one side I have used them to store GI Joes, pogs (things my kids collect), little polly pockets, etc in then label the box and stack them neatly in the closet, but they rarely stay that way unless I put them on a high shelf.

Yeah I agree with a few people here, storage, you can store some many different things in a shoe box, than put it away neatly into the closet. : )

I always save the shoe boxes incase i need them later
i have some right now
and i have pens in it
and i have another one where i have letters
and theres another one that has office supplies like sticky notes, staples, clips, etc...

I keep the boxes to keep my shoes in that way I know exactly what shoes are in what box, color, size .. blah blah.
I guess packing, cards, photos, junk ....
