Anyone know where I can find a listing of the reasons for and against the adoption of the Constitution? Thanks.

The Constitution is literally the backbone of our any country that has one. It provides the core principles by which all citizens of a country live by, the guidelines by which all laws are based on and the structure of the government.

This is why it is crucial that a Constitution be fair and unbiased. For example, our Constitution had to be modified in order to include all races in the voting process.

I'm not sure where you can get a precise list of advantages or disadvantages but, just think about it...
- one advantage is clearly having a structure for society... a quideline.
- a disadvantage would be those guidelines not being clear... like they way the Supreme Court sometimes keeps changing the rules saying they have 're-interpreted' a portion of what an Amd means.

Consitution provides for the basic framework of the government, the rights of the people and the manner how the government will interfere with the rights of the people. If there is no constitution, there will chaos because there is no basic law to follow.
