I've owned a playstation one and a playstation 2. Some of my friends say go with xbox 360. Right now I'm leaning toward a Playstation 3. I don't like Halo so that won't convince me to get a xbox 360. I play games like Smackdown Vs. Raw,Madden,NBA. Mostly football,wrestling,and some shooting games. Money isn't really an issue. Plus online is free on the Playstation 3. Please help!!!

youve already answered your own question.....Xbox 360 users will tell you to get an Xbox because they dont want their system to be 2nd best....or become the old system the ps3 is more powerful, resolution in 1080p hd, free online play, and has a blue ray...do u need blue ray?no but if u add on a hd dvd player to a 360 its already over the price of a ps3....just do the math.....360 users will tell u 360 has a better online community....it does...because its been out longer and has more users....the ps3 is jsut starting to sell so the online play is going to get better, along with tons of new games...ps3 is up and coming....if u need to have the most fun right now buy a 360 and play halo 3...if u want the better system buy a ps3

buy a ps3 i bought the 360 and it took $180 from me because i had to buy three different warranties for it. Something always messes up with it and it is no where near reliable. The only reason i bought it was for halo 3 but after that there are no really good games probably gears of war 2 but that wont come out for a while since they are working on unreal tournament 3. Trust me it is not reliable at all my plus the live isnt that great because it doesn't even have a browser which ps3 does. My friend watches youtube videos and goes on myspace on his ps3. Live all you can do is buy demos which sucks. 0 = no money it drains you down on all accesories you need PS3333333333333333333333333

I would get a PS3. They will have some good titles in the future that are PS3 exclusive, and if you are a fan of Sony games, I'm sure you are interested in some of these titles. Also, I recently read in Game Informer Magazine that 1/3 of all Xbox 360s already sold are faulty (red ring of death). So with the PS3.

If you've got the money and don't mind wasting it, I'd go with the ps3... even though in a year or so it'll be around the same price as the 360. Plus, if all you mainly play is sports games, might as well get the more powerful system, just make sure you have a nice HDTV to go along with it.

There are Downsides to both PS3's And Xbox 360s Xbox's cooling fans are really loud but the PS3's Is Quiet.
I heard there is ALOT of bugs in the PS3's System though.
I dont own one so im not sure.
I own a xbox 360 and it's worked pretty well.
They are alot of fun, and they have a bigger game selection than a ps3 does.
You should go with whatever you feel safest with.

I would look at the games for both systems and go for the system that produces the most games you enjoy. The worst thing would be to spend all that money on a system that can only get a few games that you like.

PS3,the Xbox 360 sucks because of the graphics and games.And plus,it's a old model.

xbox 360 - love it!!! more games and better fun! the cost is negligable and there are a thousand really great games on the xbox live. and some of the shooting rpgs are really really good.
